- Abstract
The article explores the application of the U.S. Supreme Court case Planned Parenthood v. Casey to informed consent provisions. It discusses how lower federal courts use the undue burden standard by focusing on its application to the provisions of abortion regulation. The constitutionality of legislative provisions related to pre-abortion ultrasounds and fetal pain is analyzed. Also explained is the need to clarify and strengthen of the undue burden standard.
