An essay is presented on the need for re-visioning Ireland in relation to its social condition. It seeks an answer to the question on what kind of society the people want in the country. The author argues based on feminist care ethics with a hope to add to the existing proposals for change. The author mentions that the gap in care ethics' and liberalism's depictions of selfhood can be mended by living lives as connected, rational and dependent.
