- Abstract
The article reports on the occurrence of viral hemorrhagic septicemia (VHS) on the trout farm in Great Britain. Inspectors from the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science is undertaking an epidemiological investigation to determine the source of the infection and whether any outbreak has occurred. In response to the situation, the country will be unable to trade live fish with VHS-free approved zones throughout Europe.
