The article focuses on approach of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case Employment Division, Department of Human Resources of Oregon v. Smith on rested on a deep internal contradiction and that it was contrary to the original intent of the Free Exercise Clause. It mentions Joseph Kennedy, a public school football coach, argued that his termination violated the Speech Clause of the First Amendment and Clause illuminates legal arguments and a general strategy.
