- Title
A Systematic Review of Simulators in Otolaryngology.
- Authors
Javia, Luv; Deutsch, Ellen S.
- Abstract
The article presents a systematic review of simulators that can be used in otolaryngology for skill acquisition, education, or skill improvement. It mentions that 353 abstracts and 154 eligible articles were reviewed. It shows that the limited descriptive terminology available for the tools and lack of standardized conceptual structures have prevented the optimal integration of simulators into training and skill refreshing schema.
