- Abstract
The stylistics of the baroque period is understudy in the article. Stereotypes expressing the musical language were formed in the epoch of baroque, which is rather long. These stereotypes can be considered the foundation of characteristic features of the epoch, which is its emblem. The object of research is the solvation of the problem which has to do with interpretation of the note text of the given epoch and also the articulation and interconnection of the different variants of the note text. One of the points of the research is the main elements of baroque articulation - slur and appoggiatura. The speciality of these phenomena is investigated in connection with baroque repertory, performed by modern musical instruments.
