The article offers information on the responsibility that should be practice by dental care professional (DCPs) and dentists with regards to confidentiality. It mentions that every registered DCPs and dentist should respect, protect information which are personal as implied in the ethical and professional guidance of General Dental Council. It states cases as to where confidentiality are breached which include DCPs behavior to practice and seeking out and acting on information to relatives.
