- Abstract
The aim of the investigation is to compare the scope of two strategies of classroom: the strategy integrated by the cooperative learning and the use of movies of science fiction and the verbal teaching strategy. Field research was used and of the quantitative method by means of a design of two groups (experimental and control) with non-randomized subject and post-test. Strategies were applied in the third year of Basic Education in the area of physics during the school periods 2012-2013, 2013- 2014, 2014-2015 y 2015-2016. A significant result was that the averages obtained in the tests, after the application of the strategy integrated by the cooperative learning and the use of movies of sciences fiction, were higher than those achieved by students in the verbal strategy. A conclusion of interest is that the use of videos made from the movies of science fiction facilitates the acquisition of skills to learn, generating major possibility of success in the students.
