- Abstract
The article discusses a model that aims to increase the use of evidence-based classroom management strategies by U.S. teachers. The two components of the model are a classroom management checklist and a consultation approach that includes action planning and performance feedback. The parts of the consultation model, namely, initiation, promoting skill acquisition, building skill fluency and supporting skill maintenance, are explained.
