- Abstract
The article discusses a study that determines the occurrence of Cryptosporidium oocysts, Isospora belli, Cyclospora and Microsporidium in the stool samples of HIV positive patients, who are suffering from diarrhea. The study determines the lymphocyte counts of the stool samples collected from the subject. It reveals that Isospora was the most common opportunistic protozoa detected, followed by Cryptosporidium.
