- Abstract
Analyzes microbiological characteristics of a vegetative buffer strip (VBS) soil and degradation and sorption of herbicide. Higher endogenous levels of enzymes in VBS; Greater capacity to sorb metolachlor in VBS soil than in bare field (BF); Limited mineralization for both VBS and BF; Metolachlor half-life for soils from VBS and BF.
