SCIENTIFIC FOUNDATIONS OF EDUCATION.
- Authors

- Abstract
The article argues that the designation of the current century as the "Age of Science" is limited to that aspect of science which covers the aggregate of its technology. The scientific method and the ethics of science are included in the term "science." However, the World culture is still not a scientific culture, but a prescientific culture. Examples of covertly negative attitudes with regard to science are provided. It is viewed that American education is inferior to that of Russia, particularly with regard to mathematics and the natural sciences.
