- Abstract
The article explores the factors that contribute in selecting the appropriate teaching method that should be used in teaching elementary science. Science-teaching has to keep up not only with the discoveries of science but with the progressive ideas of education and to the children's as well. Science must prove that it functions in the lives of children. One of the major influencing factor of teaching elementary science effectively is the science teachers, wherein their method of teaching elementary science and critical outlook in education support the critical role of science teachers.
