- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses the role of neo liberalization in the Simon Fraser University at Vancouver, British Columbia. He focuses on the aims of new institutional economics (NIE) in discovering the economic rationality and the product optimization. He states the properly designed tenure is the rational response of the academic labor market and helps in raising the cost of lax performance evaluation and reducing the long term monitoring costs.
