- Abstract
To overcome the problem of the very tight surface accuracy requirement set on a reflector, a planar hologram structure is proposed to be used as the collimating element in a compact antenna test range (CATR). In this paper, the cross-polarization performance of the hologram used in a CATR is studied. A numerical method for predicting cross-polarization levels is presented, and the theoretical results are compared with the measured ones at 39 and 310 GHz. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
