- Abstract
Reports the discovery of a comet, using archival data from the Solar Wind Anisotropies (SWAN) satellite on the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) spacecraft that tracked the comet's Lyman-alpha emission. Method of detecting cometary objects that included the design of a combination of digital filtering and a neural network procedure; Rates of the curve of derived water production and rotation of the nucleus; Results that argue the comet is not dynamically new.
