- Title
THEORIZING CLASS, GENDER, AND THE LAW: THREE APPROACHES.
- Authors
Harris, Angela P.
- Abstract
The article explores the relationship between gender and class in the U.S. using three analytical approaches. It states that identity categories are the most familiar level of analysis to identify the relation between gender and class. It notes that discrimination in the workplace is the most prevalent issue of gender and class due to bias employment practices. It suggests that the state should reconstruct its policies to disrupt the class exploitation of workers.
