- Abstract
The responsible marketing is a marketing based on the principles of sustainable development: it is to integrate sustainable development within marketing practices of companies not only by offering products and services that respect the natural environment and consumers' health, but also by setting fair prices and ensuring an honest communication that takes into account natural environment and persons and that develops positive consumption behaviors among consumers. A policy of responsible marketing entails a responsibility that overcomes mere regulatory compliance on the part of the enterprises; it is a voluntary commitment to sustainable development that translates both an awareness of their responsibilities towards the natural environment and the consumers, besides the interest that conciliation between their marketing practices and sustainable development represents.
