- Abstract
This article is a case report on the therapeutic management of corneal ulceration in a Pug. Corneal ulceration is a common condition in small animals and can lead to blindness. The case study describes the diagnosis and treatment of a three-year-old male Pug with corneal ulceration. Treatment included subconjunctival injections of Placentrex and autologous serum therapy, along with antibiotic and anti-inflammatory eye drops. The case was successfully managed, and the Pug made a full recovery within two weeks. The article highlights the susceptibility of brachycephalic breeds, like Pugs, to corneal ulcers and discusses the effectiveness of the treatment approach used in this case.
