- Title
Comparative assessment of bacterial inoculation and propionic acid treatment of aerobic stability and microbial populations of ensiled high-moisture ear corn.
- Abstract
The article presents a study on a comparative assessment of bacterial inoculation and propionic acid treatment of aerobic stability and microbial populations of ensiled high-moisture ear corn. Topics discussed include information on the use of the propionic acid to control aerobic deterioration of corn silages and high moisture corn grain; and the discussions on the yeasts and moulds primarily responsible for the aerobic deterioration of the silage.
