- Abstract
The article focuses on the orthodontic treatment of three classes of dysgnathias. It points out the indications for orthodontic treatment of early and late mixed dentition for the purpose of alveolar and skeletal balance. It indicates the extension of the interval treatment during the erupting stage of the first permanent molars and incisors and the achievement of neutral intercuspidation during the eruption of the first permanent molars. Illustrations of the different cases of dysgnathias including cleft lip and palate, brachycheilia, and laterognathism are also presented.
