- Authors
Rosen, Michel
- Abstract
The article focuses on periodontal prosthetic reconstruction method. The approach towards the reconstruction is primarily periodontally oriented. It is stated that during reconstruction, special care has been given to create adequate embrasures and adequate buccal and lingual contours of temporary bridges and the finished case. An adequate vertical dimension and rest position has been established. It is stated that temporization is very important and the temporary splint should be as sound. A case has been presented with only one adequate molar present. It is stated that the first consideration in reconstruction is that if the patient could accept a bicuspid or occlusion, it would be more desirable than a removable partial denture.
