The article discusses serious and life-threatening events associated with non-medical cannabis use in Canadian children and youth, highlighting the increasing trend post-legalization and addressing knowledge gaps in clinical diagnosis, and treatment. Topics include accidental poisonings, clinical presentations such as poisoning/intoxication and neurologic problems, and the importance of continued awareness and case reporting to understand the public health impacts of cannabis legalization.
