- Abstract
The article reports that Since mid-2019, the Victorian Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 20171 has enabled people with progressive, terminal illnesses to end their life voluntarily. We present the case of a patient admitted to a palliative care unit who applied for voluntary assisted dying (VAD), had his request approved and subsequently withdrew his application.
