- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 54-year-old man with a provisional diagnosis of vasculitis with shortness of breath secondary to anaemia. Highlights include changes consistent with subacute dermatitis shown by histology of a lower limb biopsy, avoidance of further renal calculi as the reason for a restricted diet, and in vitro evidence that excess vitamin C is implicated in the pathogenesis of calcium oxalate calculi.
