- Abstract
The article offers information about the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Seasparrow Surface Missile System in the U.S. It is a shipboard surface-to-air missile system for defense against anti-ship missiles of the Soviet Union. Additionally, it has an air-to-air Sparrow missile that is the standard weapon for free-world fighter aircraft, a director with radar and illuminator, launcher and missiles. Information on the Seasparrow production responsibility is also addressed.
