- Authors
Peate, Ian
- Abstract
An editorial is presented which addresses the author's views about about the British Chief Nursing Officer's campaign to get nurses in Great Britain to help patients get dressed in their own clothes and moving in order to end what the author refers to as pyjama (pajama) paralysis. According to the article, patients who wear pyjamas while undergoing hospital care often fail to recover in a timely manner. Bed rest and ambulatory care are assessed.
