- Abstract
The author reflects on the profession of occupational therapy in the 21st century with reference to lecture delivered by Juliette Cooper, Muriel Driver Lecturer, on Thelma Cardwell Research Day at the University of Toronto. She states that occupational therapists have become more couregous and confident and act with hope. She mentions the role of occupational therapists in community which includes helping young adults with disabilities, pediatric health care and conducting research.
