- Abstract
The article discusses the move by the international organization Amphibian Ark (AArk) to coordinate the captive breeding components of the Amphibian Conservation Act Plan. It mentions that AArk endorses the establishment of captive facilities within range countries. It also states that this is in contradiction to the acquisition of more threatened amphibians for conservation breeding programs that does not reflect the optimal scenario for the ex situ management of amphibians.
