- Title
ON EFFICIENT ACCUMULATION PATHS IN THE CLOSED PRODUCTION MODEL.
- Authors
Drandakis, Emmanuel M.
- Abstract
The article examines efficient accumulation paths in the closed production model. There are already a number of papers examining the behavior of "efficient" accumulation paths of finite or infinite duration. They have proved that, under certain conditions, efficient paths tend to move toward near a von Neumann path for most their duration. The corresponding theorems have been called "turnpike theorems" from the turnpike function of the von Neumann path. The author considered an economy with decentralized production in this paper. Proofs are given whenever either the corresponding results are new or the proofs themselves differ substantially from the original ones.
