- Abstract
Metalizing, or thermal spraying technique, was invented almost 100 years ago, but due to its important benefits has been continuously developed since then. This paper is aimed at presenting aspects of optimization the grinding process of 40C130 thermal spayed coatings. Research goals involve applied statistic methods, such as design of experiments and regression analysis joint with the virtual projection method, known as Vladareanu-Munteanu method, for design and develop a real-time control system. Thus, flexible robotic cell with distributed control is presented. As result, required surface roughness, Ra parameter, would be efficiently achieved with optimized grinding process parameters values.
