- Abstract
Starting from the exegesis of Gn 2:25, the contribution dwells on the lexicon relative to the image of the protoplasts-children in Theodoret of Cyrrhus to stand out how he has favorited a psychoevolutive reading of the passage, rather than a "protologic" one. The nakedness of Adam and Eva is associated on a pre-ethical and pre-linguistic condition, in whose Adam-νήπιος is still in a condition of extraneousness compared to the vice and the virtue. Such an exegetic paradigm brings with the insistence on an original condition of middleness placing between mortality and immortality. Under this outline, Philo of Alexandria constitutes an effective ground to value the conceptual background in which children there moves the theme of the protoplasts- children in Theodoret, as well as to understand presuppositions and aims of it. The didaskalia is in fact understood as a techne and as a cure within an ethical progress.
