- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 68-year old male patient who was diagnosed with transverse colon varices associated with ductal pancreatic adenocarcinoma. The patient underwent upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, contrast-enhanced thoracic and abdominal computed tomography. Laboratory findings showed mild inflammatory syndrome, hyperglycemia, lesion on the body and tail of the pancreas and left adrenal gland and splenic veins, multiple abdominal and pulmonary adenopathies and hepatic lesions.
