- Abstract
The towns situated along the Danube valley, between Giurgiu and Braila, have a rich anthropogenic tourism potential but little known. Within the studied area there are located the following ports: Giurgiu, Olteniţa, Călăraşi, Feteşti, Cernavodă, Hârşova, Măcin, Brăila. The anthropogenic tourism sights can be divided into the followings categories: monuments and archaeological sites, monuments and religious assemblies, monuments and civil assemblies, art and commemorative monuments (e.g. statues, mausoleums), parks and public gardens, objectives related to ethnography and folklore, folk events, cultural and sporting, museums and memorial houses.
