- Abstract
The article aims to analyze the public policy evaluation process, seen as a part of public policy cycle, based on a comparative quantitative study, in two administrative institutions at the local level. The research aims to identify the characteristics of the evaluation process in relation to the typologies of evaluation, starting from the following operational dimensions: internal evaluation versus external evaluation, administrative evaluation, legal evaluation and political evaluation, prospective or retrospective evaluation, formative versus summative evaluation. Correlating these existing typologies to the level of each public institution, the purpose of the research is to identify the characteristics of the evaluation process, its strengths, and its weaknesses in the space of public administration.
