- Authors
Pereverzeva, O. V.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the mythical and poetical space pattern of the nanais of the Deviatka valley. The nanai family population is believed to be the progeny of some of the Tungus-Manchu tribes, the new settlers in the Deviatka valley. The Deviatka River is considered one of the left side tributaries of the Amur River. The presence of an excavation trench on the right-side bank of the Deviatka revealed that there are remains of Neolithic settlement. The Tungus cultural features are said to be most pronounced in the Nanai culture. However, there are certain minor differences stipulated in the dialects and religious rites of the Gorin and Amur Nanai populations, some of which are the different environmental and climatic conditions of the places of living.
