- Abstract
Most of the resources of the University of Wollongong Archives are devoted to research records, and the collection has approximately 150 deposits and occupies 1500 shelf meters. Records in the collection are generally from business, political, and labor organizations or relate to the Illawarra region. The first major deposit of union records came from the Australian Meat Industry Employees' Union, and labor records are well represented. However, few business records have been sought for deposit. Political records in the archives are mostly deposits from Australian Labor Party branches in the Illawarra region.
