- Abstract
The article offers information on legal issues related to the tissue transplantation of young children in Australia. It states that under the common law, parents are authorized to make medical decisions in behalf of their children receiving tissue transplantation. It discusses a case study wherein seven-year old girl named Tina refuses to donate her liver tissues to her father Frank which applies to the legal issue that the aims of transplantation must be limited to transplants family members.
