- Abstract
The article discusses the humanitarian assistance that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has contributed to national disasters around the world. The Kingdom's philanthropic contributions both internally and in natural disasters like those in Haiti and Japan have made it one of the most charitable nations in the world. Other topics discussed include how to strengthen the country's social development sector by chartering more non-profit organizations (NPOs) in the Kindgom, how charitable donations not monitored by the Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) affects statistics on the country's charity, and how the Saudi's attitude towards low-skill jobs and welfare leads to more charitable giving.
