- Title
Response to William Klassen's Paper Mennonite Studies as a Part of Religious Studies.
- Authors
Janzen, Waldermar
- Abstract
The article presents the author's view on the William Klassen's paper about Mennonite studies as part of religious studies. The author mentions that Klassen's paper focuses only on the Canadian situation and limits himself to the area of Mennonite Studies taught in university campuses by acknowledging the need for separate treatment of Mennonite studies carried by Mennonite institutions. The author also states that the Mennonite Studies taken by Klassen is uncertain whether it means religious studies with specifically Mennonite subject matter or any course in religious studies taught by a Mennonite.
