China unyielding on 60<sup>th</sup> Tibet annexation anniversary.
- Abstract
The article reports on the attacks on Dalai Lama XIV and the Tibetan government in exile ahead the 60th annexation anniversary of the Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR). TAR chairman Padma Choling says that the Dalai Lama can go back provided that he would not disrupt the orderly situation in the region. Meanwhile, regional party secretary Zhang Qingli asserts that the Dalai Lama is involved in separatist activities that do not benefit the Tibetan people.
