The author, son of blacklisted screenwriter Paul Jarrico, discusses his views on the Hollywood blacklist in California in the 1950s. He describes his father's testimony during the HUAC investigations. The family moved to France after the HUAC questioning, to get work outside of the production companies adhering to the blacklist.
