- Abstract
The article presents a study which examined the temporal and sex-specific effects of acid labile subunit (ALS) deficiency on body size and skeletal development during growth. A control mice and an ALS knockout (ALSKO) mice, both ranging from 4- to 16-weeks-old, were used in this study. It is observed that body size and bone size have age- and sex-specific dependencies on the ALS.
