The article focuses on the extraordinary world of visual imagery, iconography and music which emerged from the French Revolution. In particular, the song culture from the Revolution provided an important and effective tool for propaganda. In fact, it is proven to be surprisingly resilient and popular both to the anarchists and to the French working classes at the turn of the century.
