- Abstract
The article compares the forensic accountant with other accountants. The author describes the work of the forensic accountant that also includes being involved in the legal process as an expert witness, for example, in arbitration or mediation. It also discusses the difficulties of other accountants when they venture into forensic accountancy and explains the importance of being able to stand up to the direct and cross examination in court.
