- Abstract
In order to realize the real-time monitoring of multi-tow tension in polyester staple fiber production process and improve product quality, a multi-tow tension real-time monitoring system was designed. STM32 microcontroller hardware system was taken as the lower machine in the detection system, real-time tension was obtained through strain gauge pressure sensor and tension transmitter, and the information was transmitted to the upper machine through Modbus communication protocol. According to the existing equipment in the factory, gantry frame type tension synchronous detection device and ceramic indenter detection device were developed, which can accurately detect the tension of 24 strands of polyester staple fiber on the production line. SQL Server relational database management system in industrial computer was used to realize digital information management of tension monitoring. The system can monitor the tension of polyester staple fiber in real time, provide data reference for subsequent tension adjustment, and improve product quality.
