- Authors

- Abstract
A sixty-two-year-old man was found to have an aneurysm of the superior mesenteric artery that was histologically shown to be of fungal etiology. Although the term mycotic is often used to describe infected aneurysms of any etiology, the authors cannot find in the literature a prior report of a fungal, or truly mycotic, aneurysm of the superior mesenteric artery. Clinical, angiographic, and histologic findings are reported with a review of the English literature.
