- Abstract
A 57-year-old woman suffered from atypical angina after a myocardial infarction. Coronary artery occlusive disease and fistula between the coronary artery and pulmonary artery was identified by cardiac catheterization. The result of medical treatment was borderline, and she did not respond to nitroglycerin as is expected in coronary occlusive disease. Following surgical closure of the fistula and myocardial revascularization, her angina subsided and she was pain-free for more than 1 year.
