- Abstract
The article discusses the revival of Catholic musical creativity. It states that 2011 has witnessed the emergence of fantastic compositions from excellent musicians made for liturgical purposes using musical and textual languages of the liturgy. It cites the reasons for this revival of musical creativity which includes the release of the third edition of the Roman Missal, the rediscovery of the Propers of the Mass, and upgrading of the papal liturgy. It also names the rising new composers.
