- Title
Trademark protection for highest skyscraper in the world.
- Abstract
The article reports on the three-dimensional trademark protecting the Taipei 101 skyscraper owned by the Taipei Financial Center Corp. (TFCC). The TFCC intends to charge license fees on such products as postcards, television commercials and films that use the skyscraper's image. According to Jack Lu of the Taiwanese Patent and Trademark Office, no infringement will be incurred by traders that use the building as background rather than a main attribute of their product.
